I started this endeavour back in November with my husband, the engineer. Now, many people say that opposites attract, and in our case its true. He is all into numbers, I'm into words, he works with metal, I work with paper, but the one thing we do have in common is that we both appreciate good design (be it graphic or industrial) So without further adieu, I introduce the left brain of the very right-minded Chic Ink. I just finished working on the cutest set of invitations. The theme is ladybugs, and the mommy-to-be has a passion for everything purple. These invites were printed on a satin white paper and mounted on a nice thick piece of brown cardstock to frame it.

Turning 30 is an amazing event. Why not celebrate it accordingly? When Christy came to me with the idea of throwing her husband a surprise casino style bash for his 30th birthday, I was all over it. I created this invitation for them to send to their guests, making sure to get them into the mood for the party. Read the invites, its quite funny (if I do say so myself). Now, I had the joy of attending this bash, and let's just say, if we were actually playing for money, I'd be typing this from the high rollers suite in Vegas. Yeah Baby!

That's what little boys are made of. Last month I told you guys about my new nephew. Well the time has come to gush over his cuteness. I made this custom birth announcement so that the whole world can see what I have been blessed with.

Last Thursday my darling new nephew came into this world weighing a whopping 9 lbs.
